The second week of the 2026 season is complete and the SEC is making moves to take back their spot on top the Power 4 Conferences. Tennessee complete’s the conferences sweep of the ACC with a big win over Georgia Tech. Mizzou picks up a win over the BIG12 in a heated matchup against their mortal enemy, Kansas. Texas A&M also gets a big win over a BIG12 team.
Alabama and Kentucky go toe-to-toe in the SEC’s first in-conference matchup. Mississippi State travels way up north to rep the conference in BIG10 country. Meanwhile, Oklahoma makes a much less successful trip to BIG10. Texas pulls off the greatest 4th quarter comeback against a number 1 team in history. LSU, Ole Miss, Auburn, Florida, South Carolina, and Georgia pick up easy wins against cupcakes. Vandy just picked up a win. Which is about all you can ask of Vandy.
