I traveled to Park City, Utah to train with the USA Bobsled Team and find out if a retired NFL lineman has what it takes to push a four-man sled. Spoiler: it’s way harder than it looks.
The team put me through a full combine — 30-meter sprint, vertical jump, broad jump — then taught me how to push on the dry-land training track before suiting up and going down the actual ice track at 80+ mph pulling 5 Gs. Huge thanks to Head Coach Chris Fogt, pilot Frank Del Duca, and the entire USA Bobsled & Skeleton team for letting me tag along and not laughing too hard when I almost fell on my face.
