February 7-8 — Rocket City Retro Fest — Huntsville, Alabama
Formerly known as GameJam South, the event first launched in May 2021 as a celebration of retro gaming, collectibles, and community in the heart of Huntsville, Alabama. In 2024, founders Ty and Slay passed the torch to new leadership, and Adam (The Retro Beard) joined forces with Travis (WoodmanClassics) to continue the legacy of an event that meant so much to them and the local gaming community. Together, they rebranded the show as Rocket City Retro Fest—a weekend dedicated to classic gaming, pop culture, and nostalgia, with a mission to make Huntsville the ultimate destination for retro fans across the Southeast.
