“The violence, and the blood, the family story, the music, and the humor were all really attractive to me in this project. It’s fun to be thrown into a situation where you’re covered in blood with a chainsaw and you gotta stick it into some demon’s face. Or fighting a demon cheerleader underwater. It’s a blast. Damon Herriman as Lucky is a great bad guy. He’s a chameleon of an actor. Jolene Purdy brought a really interesting point of view and style. Pretty much right away, everybody connected. It really is a great ensemble.”
