September 10-12 — OutsideCon — Burns, Tennessee
Outside is held the the weekend after Labor Day in September (Back on FOR 2021). It is held at Montgomery Bell State Park, where Ernest went to Camp. It is hosted by Robert Embler of Fort Campbell and many of his long time friends. There is music, revelry, sports, camping (for those who want to), and food thanks to one friend in particular and her spouse, without whom it would not have that homey touch. Arrival is anytime Friday after 3 pm and everyone must be out by noon on Sunday.
Since this is held in a State Park there is also water play available, hiking, and nature in abundance.
