Convention Tuesdays: WHOlanta, Bar Wars VII, Tupelo Con 2019

Welcome to Convention Tuesdays! Every Tuesday, I will feature and highlight conventions happening during the upcoming weekend in Alabama, or within short driving distances from Alabama.

May 3-4 — Extra Life Charity Event — Roswell, Georgia

Heroic is pleased to announce that on May 3rd and 4th we will be hosting Extra Life! This is a charity dedicated to helping sick and injured kids. Entry is $5 per slot and 100% of that and any donations thereafter will go directly to this charity.

On May 3rd and 4th we will have Tier 1 to 4, Fai Chen’s Fantastical Faire, and DDEP08-02 Stardock Under Siege (Tier 1 to 3)

We will also be hosting a second epic on May 19th, DDEP08-03 Last Call at the Yawning Portal (Tier 1 to 4), for this charity as well!

May 4 — Bar Wars VII — Atlanta, Georgia

Raise your geek flag high, pledge your loyalty to either the Empire or the Rebellion and join us in Atlanta for Markster Con’s infamous BAR WARS PUB CRAWL on May the 4th (Be With You). Incorporating numerous bars in Atlanta’s VIRGINIA-HIGHLAND area, this will be the only way to celebrate International STAR WARS DAY on May the 4th (Be With You), 2019. Join hundreds of your fellow galactic geeks to celebrate one of the most special days the Galaxy can offer (NOTE: it’ll be 6 more years before this date falls on a weekend so let’s celebrate it properly!)

May 4-5 — Tupelo Con — Tupelo, Mississippi

Tupelo Con is a Multi-Genre event dedicated to bringing the people of geek culture together and giving them a memorable experience. We are focused on representing as many fandoms as possible, with comics, gaming, cosplay, sci-fi and more!  Major guests include Sean Gunn, Walter Jones, Jeremy London, and more.
