On February 16-18, 2024, the Central Alabama Mensa Regional Gathering for 2024 will take place in the Hilton Garden Inn in Oxford, Alabama.
The Central Alabama Mensa Regional Gathering is moving East! We’re taking the festivities a little ways down I-20 to Oxford, Alabama. Come spend Presidents Day Weekend 2024 with us at the Hilton Garden Inn in Oxford. The Presidential RG will include a trivia competition, a “Murder at the White House” mystery dinner, great speakers, and fun hospitality.
Whether your favorite president was Abe Lincoln or Zaphod Beeblebrox, this will be a great Presidential party without any party politics! In addition to the RG events we have planned, the Anniston/Oxford area is home to the Anniston Museum of Natural History, Botanical Gardens, and the Berman Museum which houses an amazing collection of historical items from American and World history. For the geography or nature enthusiasts, we’ll also be near Cheaha Mountain State Park, the highest elevation in Alabama.
Registration includes snacks and drinks in the hospitality room as well as dinner Friday night, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday morning.
