22 Days Left Until Christmas

At the North Pole:

The North Pole is very remote!  There are no roads connecting to the village from Canada.  So that means everything is shipped in either by ship or plane.  During the summer months it’s cheaper to bring everything in by ship.  But during the cold winter months, everything must be flown in since the water is frozen in ice.  But the residents don’t have to worry about the high product costs because the world governments ships supplies to them for free!

Christmas Song:

Santa Baby was written in 1953 by Joan Javits and Philip Springer.  The first recording of Santa Baby was done by Eartha Kitt with Henri René and his orchestra in New York City on October 6, 1953.  But I have to think that this version from Madonna recorded in 1987 is better!

Samaritan’s Purse is a great christian charity that helps people around the world.  Founded in 1970; this charity has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Each year Samaritan’s Purse does Operation Christmas Child which uses shoe boxes to bring delight to a child and to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to needy children around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
