The mission of A Good Guy is to bring awareness to a nationwide problem in America: the lack of Universal Health-Care. Despite Owen’s best efforts and intentions as a Father, he and his wife struggle financially to pay for the appropriate care their daughter needs. Finally, after losing his job and almost his daughter, Owen is forced to take extreme actions to ensure her safety since her treatment is unaffordable. In our story, you will see how far Owen is willing to go and how sometimes doing the right thing can drive you to do wrong.
A Good Guy tells the story of a gentle-souled father who must sacrifice his morals to gather the money needed for his young daughter’s life. Owen is the main character of our story. He is a caring, gentle-souled father who will do anything to support his critically ill daughter, Sophia. Growing up as an orphan led Owen down a path of deplorable and immoral action. It was, however, this time that sculpted the nurturing, loving father and husband we meet. The fear of losing his family leads to a questionable yet understanding decision, which threatens to tear his world apart.
Our touching story follows a young father named Owen. When Owen loses his job as a care-worker, he faces the sudden panic of not being able to provide for his seriously ill daughter, Sophia, who suffers from an extremely rare disease. Owen and his wife, Olivia, save in hardship and make ready for an upcoming vital medical procedure. Sophia’s health situation quickly goes from bad to worse, forcing Owen to respond in the only way he knows how.
