To celebrate the season 4 premiere of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic on Saturday on the Hub Network, (click here to read my review of the first two episodes) Haven Comics Etc. in Madison, AL is bringing in one of the artists from the comic book.  The shop will celebrate Hearth’s Warming Eve – and Haven Comics is going all out to transform their comic book shop into a huge festive celebration!

Haven Comics is bringing Andy Price back – you know, one of the artists for the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic comic book series – on Saturday, November 23rd from 12-5 pm. In one day you can catch the My Little Pony Season 4 premiere and get to meet the guy behind the comics.  Andy will be there signing issues as well as selling his art prints and drawing sketches for $10 a sketch.

And just to make things 20% cooler, they are teaming up with Toys for Tots.  Everypony who brings in a new, unwrapped toy will be entered to win a ponytastic prize package!  The package will include, among other awesome things, an autographed sketch by Andy Price himself!  There will also be raffles anyone can enter if you bring in a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots.  Some of the prizes includes My Little Pony headphones and fashion belt, $25 in Build-a-Bear Cub Cash, cookies for Santa cookie cutter kit, hand-stitched OC pony Candy Cane, and an original, custom sketch by Andy Price himself.

Not only will Haven’s have Andy – the whole place will be themed around Hearth’s Warming Eve.  They will have hot apple cider and other Hearth Warming treats, as well as crafts for fillies and foals of every age.  You can wear your favorite pony costume!  They’ll even have Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Derpy there for a special appearance!  They will also have plenty of Doctor Who activities including a viewing of the 50th anniversary special!
