Since 2022, we’ve been on a mission to make STEM and Robotics fun and accessible through our CodeRover series — a line of build-it-yourself robots made from laser-cut parts and powered by smart electronics. Each project pushed the boundaries of what DIY robotics can be. But this time, we’re taking things to a whole new level.
Introducing: CodeRover Hovercraft
A real, hover-able (yes, it actually hovers!), high-speed, programmable hovercraft made from laser-cut MDF and acrylic — powered by an ESP32-S3, brushless motors, servos, sensors, and all the cool gadgets and gimmicks we could pack in.
It’s wicked fast, insanely customizable, and yes — you build it yourself, piece by piece.
As of December 9th, this project has raised $63,000 of their $3,000 goal. This project has 28 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $289, you will get one hovercraft base.
