We launched Book 3 in 2022 after a ten year hiatus from writing, and we funded! Yay! So, here we are with not just the next book in the series – Book Four – but ALSO Book Five! That’s right – this baby is finished!
Well, almost. We are doing another $10K fund raise to finance production of the books, and in spite of the rising cost of materials and shipping and other factors, we are staying right at the same mark as the last campaign.

Book Four: The Ghosts of Darkness
The children at long last have found a home inside of the old mountain base. As they continue to uncover the mysteries of the World Machine, things take a dark turn. Crippling earthquakes begin, signaling a failing planet. And whether resulting from the quakes or simply a result of their investigations, terrifying ghosts stir from the shadowy reaches of their new home’s deepest reaches.
Book Five: Shadows of Ruin
In the aftermath of the Darkness’s total takeover, Edgar finds himself returning to the place where it all began. Except, this time he’s brought friends, and he’s a lot more powerful than the scared child who barely escaped so long ago. In the mysterious and heartfelt conclusion to The Tale of Edgar Trunk, relationships and existence are examined, and impossible choices are made.
