Hello Kapwa People!
What began as an idea for Tita and Kuya is finally coming to life…and we need all of the support to help bring Bayani to the world. We have been working behind-the-scenes for over a year to share Bayani’s story.
We started Tita and Kuya during the height of the pandemic to share our love of the Filipino culture and highlighting Filipino artists, creatives and small businesses. As we grew in our knowledge of the Filipino community, we realized that there was a lack of resources specifically for the Filipino autistic and disabled community.
This started Tita and Kuya’s passion project, Autism Pamilya which has a mission to provide support to autistic and disabled Filipinos and their families.
This was how Bayani was born. We wanted to create characters and stories that would raise awareness of autistic filipinos and help autistic and disabled filipinos and their families feel seen and heard. A percentage of each book will go towards outreaches and projects to help support the autistic and disabled filipino community.
Through this Kickstarter, we hope that we can connect with more autistic and disabled filipinos globally and share their stories. We are excited to share Bayani’s story to the world and help inspire others through his story.
Our goal of $3000 will help launch the book and provide additional outreach opportunities to autistic and disabled Filipinos and their families.
As of January 20th, this project has raised $3,300 of their $3,000 goal. This project has 20 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $20, you will get one book.
