CP 2246 leads the holiday train north (RR west) through Rondout, Illinois. They’re crossing Canadian National’s Waukegan Sub (at the tower) and are passing under the former North Shore Interurban Mundelein Branch right-of-way, which has been converted into a multi-use trail. They’ll stop shortly for a show in Gurnee, Illinois before continuing their trip northward to Wisconsin, where they’ll stop for another show in Sturtevant and again in Caledonia before tying down in Milwaukee for the night.
