“Anaiess, home to many humanoid species, is a planet-wide nation of technologic advancements and a shining beacon of unity across the galaxy. But within the bustling, diverse world, a secret lies. Deeply rooted in the forgotten peninsula of Brynden Ka, a strange phenomenon has begun. Citizens have started to possess unnatural Elemental-like powers. Many across the nation attribute these ‘abilities’ to be the work of Avari, a species that has long since vanished, taking their own powers with them. In the chaos of how to address such energy in these rare cases, the Elemental Military Enforcement, EME, has risen to remove Elementals from the public entirely.
Though rumor has it, EME isn’t searching for Elementals, but a single Avari.
Growing up hidden and sheltered, Kon must learn what he is. In a world his people were rejected from, he remains. Alone. As he grows, it becomes clearer what he is. He can’t hide forever. His powerful unnatural abilities grow stronger every year, as does the grip of the EME, unstoppable in their mission to find him. Amidst fleeing the EME, he must learn to trust others to discover the true reason his parents, and his people, left him behind.”
This is book ONE of a Sci fi/Fantasy story taking place in an expansive galaxy. It has a mix of science fiction, dystopian, and fantasy. While book 1 focuses on a small peninsula, there are stories across the entire galaxy of this world that I plan to bring to life later.
All chapter illustrations, cover, and drawings within the book were illustrated by me, CozKa, the author. I’ve put countless hours into honing my art and writing to bring this book to you.
