Crowdsourcing Mornings: National Park Pup: Yellowstone

Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

National Park Pup: Yellowstone is a children’s book that combines fun rhymes—inspired by Dr. Seuss—and the world’s first National Park.

Our story starts with Pup, your very own tour guide through Yellowstone National Park. He is bursting with enthusiasm and knowledge about the Park and he can’t wait to share it with you. Next, there’s Pup’s two friends, who join in on the adventure to experience all the unique animals and landscapes awaiting inside.

With an educational focus and just the right amount of silliness infused into the illustrations, the purpose of the book is to help children cultivate a love for learning and develop a love for the outdoors.

As a parent who knows what it’s like to toil through a painful children’s book night after night, I wrote this book with parents in mind too. The book is packed full of fun rhymes, interesting facts, and beautiful illustrations to ensure all ages are interested and engaged.

Down the road, my goal is to eventually create a National Park Pup series where Pup takes you on an adventure through a new National Park in each consecutive book. For right now, I’m focused on the National Park that started it all, Yellowstone.

This book is for you, if you:
