Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at:  https://geekalabama.com/media-kit-pr/geek-alabama-crowdsourcing-guidelines

Journey across Canada to meet the small-scale sheep farmers on a mission to reinvigorate the domestic wool industry. Learn about each farmer’s motivations, their dedication to applying climate-forward practices, and their passion for developing regional infrastructure to ensure their wool is processed, milled, and made into goods locally. Along the way, learn about the unique characteristics of the sheep breeds being raised across the country, and how the wool from each is best used in textiles.

As of April 29th, this project has raised $26,000 of their $19,565 goal. This project has 20 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $20, you will get one eBook.  For a pledge of $32, you will get one print book.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ninetenpub/a-book-about-canadian-wool-and-the-shepherds-who-grow-it?
