This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at: https://geekalabama.com/media-kit-pr/geek-alabama-crowdsourcing-guidelines

Jacinta Bunnell, the author of five groundbreaking coloring books about gender, has teamed up with Crystal Vielula and PM Press/Reach&Teach to bring you a story about a spunky, non-binary protagonist named Harmon Jitney who finds joy in a magical purse, leading to an extraordinary, previously undiscovered, universe.

This book features LGBTQ characters seamlessly woven into a delightful, imaginative story, without being an overt “lesson book” about gender and sexuality. A More Graceful Shaboom is one of the first children’s books ever written to feature a non-binary character who uses they and them pronouns. Follow Harmon Jitney and their two moms as they unlock the key to their own inner joy and understanding of community.

As of June 23rd, this project has raised $14,000 of their $12,000 goal. This project has 9 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $12, you will get one e-book.  For a pledge of $20, you will get one signed book.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ww3/a-more-graceful-shaboom-lgbtq-kids-book?
