Yep, The Pentagon Is Ready For The Zombie Apocalypse

Either the US Military thinks a zombie apocalypse is about to happen, or our military has been watching The Walking Dead too much.  But the Pentagon has a plan to stop the zombie apocalypse if it happened, I am not kidding!  The Defense Department has a plan called CONOP 8888-11, or a zombie survival plan that will “preserve the sanctity of human life” among all “non-zombie humans.”  Enjoy this video below where the hosts had some fun with this zombie plan!

The plan says there are several types of zombies.  There are chicken zombies, vegetarian zombies, evil magic zombies, space zombies (aliens), radiation zombies, weaponized zombies, symbiant-induced zombies, and pathogenic zombies (the ones on The Walking Dead).  The 31 page document from The Department of Defense calls the zombie apocalypse plan “fictional contingency planning guidance” and came up with the title of “Counter Zombie Dominance.”  The military says the worse case scenario if the zombie apocalypse occurred is hordes of walking dead infecting the population, with little ability of the non-infected to combat the illness, like what you see on The Walking Dead.

The plan has three steps, one is to establish and maintain a vigilant defensive condition aimed at protecting humankind from zombies.  Two, conduct operations that will, if directed, eradicate zombie threats to human safety.  Step three is to aid civil authorities in maintaining law and order and restoring basic services during and after a zombie attack.  I can not believe our US Government is wasting more taxpayer dollars on something like this, and I thought some of the programs that the government wastes taxpayer dollars on was funny, this is a joke!  How about creating opportunities for people who are struggling, instead of focusing on The Walking Dead?  God Bless America!
