Part Story, Part Atlas, Full Critterly Adventure: This hardcover book is a genuine blend of story-driven graphic novel and illustrated atlas of natural landmarks. The river isn’t just a backdrop, it’s the journey itself, guiding each chapter as Noodles and Nugget sail from place to place, meet new friends, and discover that “going with the flow” sometimes takes patience.
Maps and Spreads that Capture the Great Outdoors: Highly detailed spreads and maps double as standalone works of art, rewarding readers who love beautiful design and real-world detail alongside character-driven storytelling.
Two Pals, a River, and a Boatload of Hijinks: Nugget and Noodles run on buddy-comedy momentum inspired by classics like The Muppets, National Lampoon’s Vacation, and mid-20th-century animated shorts. Their friendship is all banter, mishaps, and surprisingly solid campfire-level wisdom.
We created Noodles & Nugget for those who would rather spend a minute in a national park over hours on a patch of pavement, value a good stop-filled road trip over a quick flight, and prefer creature-ly comedy over people-ly problems, any day of the week.
It’s a love letter to national parks, road trips, and found family made for people who see stories in maps and get lost in the details.
