Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at:  https://geekalabama.com/media-kit-pr/geek-alabama-crowdsourcing-guidelines

Our first Kickstarter campaign was a great success. More than 600 backers supported the project and helped us raise over $83,000 to produce the film. Many of those supporters have since watched the finished movie in an exclusive private screening, and the response has been overwhelming.

The challenge now is licensing.

The movie already exists. The production is finished. We now need to create the opportunity for the right company to see its potential and make the investment required to clear the licenses.

Our next goal is to distribute the movie. By supporting this campaign, you’ll have plenty of awesome options and rewards to choose from, all detailed below. And, at the same time, you’ll be playing a direct part in helping us raise the funds we need to take this movie to the big screen and the next stage of its journey.

As of September 29th, this project has raised $126,000 of their $10,000 goal. This project has 2 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $25, you will get a 7 day viewing window of the film. For a pledge of $40, you will get one Blu-Ray of the film.
