Do you hear that?
I mean, do you really hear that?
The peace, the quiet, everything is so calm.
That is exactly what has happened since I shut off the comments on Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
And you know what happened? I have gained more followers. In fact, my followers count is growing quickly on Facebook and TikTok. And I think shutting off the comments had something to do with that.
I have had several people email me or message me begging me to turn the comments back on. One person said:
So you decided to turn off your comments cause you think you was being bullied. If you’re going to go on social media and act and talk crap the way you do then you should be able to handle comments and criticism if you can’t then you need to cancel your social media accounts till you become a man and can take things people say to you. You are wrong on several topics but you refuse to let people tell you.
Take it like a man? It had gone to the point on social media where it went from criticism to outright bullying and threats. I can take criticism, I cannot take people bullying and threatening me. I don’t think anyone could put up with that.
Another person wrote:
Why are you all so ugly to Nathan Young? Is it because he thinks differently than you politically or religiously? Is it because he has the courage to stand up and speak out for what he believes? Is it because he is autistic?
Your constant bad attitudes are the reason this country is the way it is. I promise if you got to know Nathan some and saw his humanity instead of just his ideologies, you would treat him with more respect. What if someone treated your child or grandchild the same way you treat Nathan?
How about this, the next time you want to bully Nathan, write to me instead. This isn’t a tough guy on Facebook act I’m trying to display. I want to pray with you and help you through your anger and frustration and I want you to see that Nathan isn’t your enemy. Your bad attitude and the need to be a bully isn’t your enemy. Satan is your enemy and you are playing his game when you act the way you act toward Nathan.
Unfortunately too many people in this country have developed this horrible attitude where they are always angry and bitter all the time.
And when they see someone who is vulnerable, down on their luck, or different, they like to bully and threaten those people.
I have had thousands of people throughout my life who at first were nice and treated me fairly, but eventually these people turned into bullies and haters. This has happened in person, the internet, and on social media as well.
Unfortunately here in the United States, too many people have this “ME” attitude. It’s all about me, when it should be about “US”.
This is why we have so many issues in this country right now, which is only getting worse.
Because of who I am, mostly all employers will avoid me.
Because of who I am, mostly all people will avoid me.
Because of who I am, people who provide opportunities for content creators will avoid me.
Because of who I am, mostly all people who provide housing will avoid me.
Because of who I am, mostly everyone will shun me from society.
And that is the awful truth.
Can it change in the United States?
While I hope it could change one day, it probably never will change.
Too many people are in a cult.
Too many people are just too rude, angry, bitter, and downright disrespectful in life.
I wonder if my time here in East Alabama is coming to an end?
I do wonder if I need to consider moving to a different part of the country where I would be treated with respect and dignity?
And you know where that will likely be?
A blue state in a blue city.
We’ll see what happens over the summer. But I am working behind the scenes to put myself out there even more than I do now.
It’s going to make more people angry at me.
And I can’t wait to see the anger!
Because that is where the United States is at, the angry states of America.
