The Bells in Lilak is narrated by seven-time SOVAS AWARD Winner, Stephanie Németh-Parker (Sherlock Holmes, Old Skies) and follows Iradei of Ajinor, a great warrior and daughter of the Lord-Marshal of Voethyia. The Bells in Lilak is a character driven adventure audio drama set within the science-fantasy universe of The Lyrikens – a setting where the mythological is present and walking, living among the mundane and the mortal, upon a world full of rich history that is equally grounded and surreal.
The Bells in Lilak is a story about finding one’s place and purpose in the world, as well as prompting thoughts about legacy, cycles and the idea of godhood as a curse. The story deals with cycles and begs the question of whether to prolong the inevitable or embrace the uncertainty of change.
Season One will feature 13+ episodes, averaging 30 minutes each, in a full story arc. This Kickstarter will fund the first full season and essential assets like cast and crew. The majority of additional funding will be budgeted towards stretch goals, additional character development episodes, marketing, and any unknown production costs associated with the show.
