Thirty years after the TV show on Cartoon Network was canceled, the Radical Squadron can make a comeback with your support! Welcome to the Kickstarter campaign for the Swat Kats’ first-ever comic, titled “Megakat City Has Fallen,” taking place exactly where the TV show left off.
The success of this campaign will not only bring this initial story to life but also lay the groundwork for more comics and showcase the strong interest in the return of Swat Kats. We thank you for your generous support and enthusiasm in helping us realize our dream of making Swat Kats a leading franchise in the comic book world!
In SWAT KATS #1, Megakat City has fallen… The Radical Squadron faces its biggest fight ever. The Swat Kats lost to Dark Kats and Hard Drive.
A few months later, Dark Kats rule a high-tech totalitarian regime over Megakat City. They are outdated, and none of their weapons can defeat the enemy. Can they save the world again?
As of October 29th, this project has raised $157,000 of their $40,000 goal. This project has 31 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $15, you will get one digital comic. For a pledge of $40, you will get one exclusive comic. To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/roditeli/swat-kats-comic-book?
