Beloved hiking, backpacking, camping, hunting, and fishing areas could be sold to the highest bidder in Alaska, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, California, Utah, Nevada, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico and Wyoming as part of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (H.R. 1). This is the biggest attempted sale of public lands in modern history. But there is still time to fight it! The bill is up for debate in the Senate, and has a July 4th deadline to pass. Now is the time to call, write, and otherwise bother your senators and demand they vote NO on the One Big Beautiful Bill if it includes this unprecedented sale of public lands!
