Matthew Hartley is a songwriter, musician and producer with over four decades of experience in the rock, country, and Christian genres. A lifelong solo artist, he combines traditional instruments with modern digital tools to create organic, realistic soundscapes. His music reflects a deep commitment to storytelling and a passion for exploring life’s complexities through song.

This video depicts my personal journey to Charleston, SC and my own pain that has led me to Jesus. But, it also depicts the journey of those who have been victims of tragic hurricanes that bring disastrous flooding. In these cases, many people have gone through awful pain that have led them to Jesus as well. So, it doesn’t matter how you suffer, because we all suffer in different ways, what matters is that you realize through your suffering, Heaven’s Calling. And, those who realize that are truly blessed.

Matthew Harley is collaborating with industry veteran and music executive & producer, David Kershenbaum, to produce a follow up EP to the single “Heaven’s Calling”. The EP is planned for release Fall/Winter 2025.
