Meet Bumblidoo, the charming, bold, and uniquely loveable character at the heart of a story that inspires children to embrace their worth, overcome self-doubt, and find strength in the voices of encouragement around them.
Written by a dedicated Mental Health Professional and community activist, Bumblidoo was born from a decade of experience supporting people in need—from advocating for men’s mental health and working in homelessness to donating over 60,000 lunches to schoolchildren in need. Inspired by these experiences and the desire to instil courage, confidence, and resilience in the next generation, this story shows children the power of self-belief.
As Bumblidoo journeys through the forest, guided by his companion Wee Bim Bim, and supported by his friends, children are gently reminded of their own inner strengths and the value of kindness, bravery, and self-acceptance. This beautifully illustrated book is perfect for kids aged 3 – 7 and anyone wanting to spark important conversations about confidence and the courage to face our insecurities with children.
