“Reducing the thrown away waste in your life, we want to drink coffee with a less guilty feeling that is kind to the planet.” It’s from this thought process that we developed Keyaki To-Go Coffee Cup, using Japanese zelkova wood. You can drink with the lid closed, and carry it with you wherever you go. You can enjoy the pleasant feel of wood when you hold it and when you drink from it, whenever wherever you are!
The lid and body of the cup are made using amazing precision manufacturing methods that you would be surprised with, to make sure that each one fits perfectly. With the silicon ring, the seams are tight, meaning that even if you tilt the cup, the liquid won’t escape. This precision crafting is only made possible thanks to the amazing skills that have been passed down. When you hold the cup in your own hands, you will be surprised by how thin the wood has been made, and how precisely it has been made.
As well as this, the natural wood grain is a beauty to behold. No two grain patterns are the same and are a visual characteristic of the tree’s age. Our skilled craftsmen choose the wood and make the most out of the most beautiful parts of it.
- The shape and height of the lid are made so that your upper lip fits well and makes it easier to drink.
- The drinking hole of the lid is made to be just the right size so that not too much liquid comes out at once.
- There is a small hole in the lid that allows the liquid to come out of the drinking hole without getting stuck due to pressure.
