You’ve heard about the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. But have you heard about the secret animal games?

That’s right. Every summer, when all the Parisians leave for their holidays, that’s when the animals take over the empty city for a series of marvelous and fantastic games.

(Well, at least that’s what we think might happen. No one is Paris at the time, the city is empty, no one really knows what’s going on.)

When the games begin, the giraffes win the volleyball. The crocodiles ace the swimming races in the Seine river. The sloths are surprisingly good at skateboarding on the pyramids of the Louvre museum. And look at that elephant run!

The Animal Games in Paris is the fourth children’s book by award-winning podcaster Oliver Gee and acclaimed illustrator Lina Nordin Gee, following their runaway successes of 2020’s Kylie the Crocodile, 2021’s Roger the Liger, and 2022’s Grace The Grace the Giraffe.

This book is our small way to celebrate this historic time for Paris, our favourite city.

As of April 5th, this project has raised $17,000 of their $10,826 goal. This project has 4 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $22, you will get one hardback book.  For a pledge of $82, you will get a four book collection.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/theearfultower/the-animal-games-in-paris?
