Northeast Alabama has someone on the current season of MasterChef. Alabama farmer Savannah Miles from Gadsden, Alabama auditioned on the show last week. The current season is called MasterChef: United Tastes of America. And Savannah served Gordon Ramsey, Joe Bastianich, Aarón Sánchez, and guest judge Tiffany Derry fried chicken with pickled green tomatoes, purple sweet potato mash, and stacked coleslaw.
Savannah got 4 yes votes! And she celebrated her apron with her family!
Savannah Miles is a Harvard graduate, and runs the business In The Pines Produce. This season, the four regions in the country, the west, the midwest, the northeast, and the south, will battle it out until only one is left. Savannah Miles made it to the top 20, and will compete in challenges including the mystery box, team challenges, and more in the MasterChef kitchen.
Savannah’s dream is to start a farm-to-table pay-what-you-can restaurant. Winning MasterChef can certainly make her dreams come true.
