Crowdsourcing Mornings: XpreSole | Waterproof All-Weather Boots Powered By Coffee

Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at:

We all wish our everyday shoes can do it all- comfortable enough to walk around without hurting the feet, light enough to keep up with our activities, and versatile enough to keep our feet dry during rainy days and match with our style from city to trails.

This is why we designed XpreSole® Boots, a pair of shoes ready to take on all kinds of weather conditions. Rain or shine, from spring to winter, XpreSole® Boots are here for you.

Using upcycled coffee grounds as the main material of XpreSole® Boots, we greatly reduced the weight of the footwear, giving you burden-free movement when you’re out there exploring.

Minimizing environmental impact without compromising on the quality and user experience is what we stand for. Certified by B Corporations, we make products that are functional and sustainable while demonstrating high environmental and social performance. By repurposing the used coffee grounds, we replaced 50% of the petroleum raw material used in your shoes.

As of March 30th, this project has raised $91,000 of their $5,000 goal. This project has 1 day left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $84, you will get one Panto Low Top.  For a pledge of $89, you will get one Panto High Top.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to:
