So, your partner is autistic. Or you suspect they might be. And you’re wondering, “What does this mean for my relationship?”

This essential guide to a healthy, equal relationship based on trust and respect is drawn from Dr. Faith’s years of experience as a couples therapist and Joe Biel and Elly Blue’s firsthand experiences.

We wrote this book primarily for allistic (non-autistic) people in a relationship with an autistic partner, whether that diagnosis is longstanding, new, or just something you’re starting to think about.

But there are insights in this book for everyone about how to set each other up for success, communicate like champs, respect one another’s differences, and support one another’s unique needs.

Joe gets asked for advice every day by allistic people who are at their wits end from not understanding their autistic partner. But most autism-oriented relationship books infantilize autistic partners . . . while assuming that their allistic or neurotypical partner has everything figured out.

That’s not our experience! We wrote this book from the assumption that everyone has equal worth in a relationship, and everyone is also probably bringing plenty of baggage to work through, too. We wanted to share our experience and perspective (Dr. Faith from her many years as a relationships counselor to partners with all kinds of brains, and Joe and Elly from being together for 14 years) so you can dive right into the key conversations you need to make your relationship strong.

Inside you’ll find:

…. and more! So much more. We really wrote our hearts out for you, friends.
