Welcome to my newest Creepy Kawaii Kickstarter! Lydia the Luna Moth and Lenore the Rosy Maple Moth were first introduced through Liam’s Plush Kickstarter in 2021. Since revealing their designs I have had a tremendous amount of excitement for them, and now almost a year later I’m excited to launch this Kickstarter to try to get them into production!
Lydia the Luna Moth represents the Moon, and brings comfort to those that are alone in the dark.
Lenore the Rosy Maple Moth represents the Sun, and brings joy to those that need a little bit of happiness.
The Moon and the Sun love each other very much, but they can’t always be together. For the special days they can, they make every moment count.
- Since I want to fund them both at the same time, Lydia and Lenore will cost $8,000 to start production on. This cost includes overseas shipping, Kickstarter fees, and promotion/marketing.
- They will be made from super soft minky fabric, will be approximately 10″ tall (12″ with their antennae), and will be plumpy stuffed with poly stuffing.
- Their cheeks and chest/back will feature a super soft faux fur.
- Their wings will be made from custom printed polyester fabric using a dye sublimation technique. They will have two sets of wings created to look similar to true to life moths. They will not be detachable and may vary slightly in shape and color from the photos due to the sublimation process.
- Their fur antennae will have a rigid material inside of the fur which should allow the antennae to stand upright on its own after some fluffing/adjusting.
As of August 9th, this project has raised $8,400 of their $8,000 goal. This project has 14 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $35, you will get one plush.
