I have been watching the PBS show “How She Rolls” and I like seeing how a biscuit empire is built and run. And a season two is coming soon. Anyways, I saw that Publix had their frozen products and I got their frozen buttermilk biscuits.
These frozen biscuits come with easy to follow instructions to bake. Wrap the biscuits with tin foil, bake, then finish baking without the tin foil.
These biscuits were very flaky, very soft, and were very good. You get six biscuits per package.
My issue is the price. At my local Publix, it was around $8 for a package, which is very steep in my opinion. Heck, I could go get a scratch made fresh biscuit from a local fast-food joint for much cheaper.
If the prices were not this steep, I would be getting the Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit a lot more. If you can not find them at your local store, they are available on their website. And check out “How She Rolls” on PBS.
