On this video, YouTube channel Smokin’ Joe’s Pit BBQ drove to South Texas to assist in cooking over 200 briskets for a very important fundraiser. 100% of the fundraiser proceeds were donated to the families of the kids. I made a ton of new friends in South Texas and the number one take away in all of this is to be there for each other. Many of the people that assisted and donated money were not even from Uvalde, they were all from small towns around Uvalde. The rest of the world needs to take a page from how Texas supports it’s neighbors in times like this.
