Nintendo’s video game legend Mario is coming to theaters in a brand new animated movie, but Shigeru Miyamoto and Illumination have revealed that the Mario movie was delayed. It will no longer be releasing in 2022, but what’s going on behind the scenes?
The Mario movie doesn’t have a trailer or any sneak peeks, which is weird considering how many months ago it was officially unveiled. We’ll eventually get to see Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Bowser, and everyone else on the big screen, but we have to wait a bit longer. Along with the Mario movie delay, Puss In Boots: The Last Wish has been pushed back by Universal to the same date that Mario would’ve made it to theaters.
