Crowdsourcing Mornings: When The World Stopped: A Children’s Book About Lockdown

This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at: https://geekalabama.com/media-kit-pr/geek-alabama-crowdsourcing-guidelines

This unique and relatable story is inspired by my daughter Jess. It follows her journey through from the very beginning of lockdown when she felt lost and didn’t understand what was happening. As the days went on, she gained a newfound appreciation of the time she now had to do all of the things she loved. The story shows us that sometimes, it’s those simple moments together—which are often overlooked—that can bring us all joy and happiness.

As a family, during the early days of lockdown, we all felt lost and frustrated at suddenly losing our freedom and purpose. Slowly, as the days rolled into weeks, we came to appreciate this rare opportunity to press the ‘pause button’ on our lives. We began to embrace the situation and experienced lots of lovely moments together during this chaotic and challenging time in the world.

As of October 28th, this project has raised $2,800 of their $2,606 goal. This project has 1 day left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $16, you will get one book.  For a pledge of $20, you will get one book and print.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1825087381/when-the-world-stopped-a-childrens-book-about-lockdown?
