Superblocked is a feature-length narrative film. A full 90-minute comedy film about a Latino entrepreneur named Alex. Alex, a struggling entrepreneur, starts a very unconventional business in order to help his mother Rosa; who is also going through some hard times. Alex starts a professional cockblocking business, Yes…You read that right… Rosa was scammed for her life savings. When Alex finds out, he’s distraught and wants to help his mom recover that money and save up for her dream house in Florida.
Definition of being Cockblocked: This term refers to someone stopping another person from successfully enamoring the individual they are attracted to. This usually happens unintentionally. A friend interrupting your conversion with the person you like, and he/she doesn’t leave. But in this story, it takes on a whole new life form in a comedic twist!
As of February 11th, this project has raised $2,600 of their $17,000 goal. This project has 19 days left to raise the $17,000 or it will not be funded.
