One thing I don’t get is why some people decide to build homes in wildfire areas, and expect to be protected. Wildfires have been happening for thousands of years across the Western USA, and its nature’s way of getting rid of the old and dead growth and letting new growth occur. When wildfires are controlled, that old and dead growth just builds up and over time that could lead to a massive wildfire.
