November is a big month for writers and bloggers. Some people participate in NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month. Since I am busy here on Geek Alabama, I will not be writing a novel. Other people participate in NaBloPoMo, or National Blog Posting Month. Well, I write a couple of posts every day, so I find no use participating in that! So, I wanted to come up with something that was unique, and something people would want to read in November, and here is what I came up with!
Geek Alabama is starting up the Geek Alabama Thank You Note series. No, I am not copying the thank you notes you see on Jimmy Fallon, I am going to thank people, brands, or anything else that I have come in contact with. I will post a new Geek Alabama Thank You Notes every Sunday in November. And for week one, I just wanted to thank you, the audience that has made Geek Alabama a go to site! Geek Alabama started up in April 2012, and has grown quickly ever since! Now, when anyone goes to any of Nathan Young’s social media sites, you see the collage of photos I have taken on the top banner, it’s some of the best photos I have taken since starting Geek Alabama.
So, thank you for coming to Geek Alabama, and sharing my updates on social media, which happens quite a bit! And I hope you enjoy the Geek Alabama Thank You Note series, I hope it becomes very popular, and something I can do every November!
