In my latest recipe post, I am taking your classic apple pie, and putting it into a coffee cup! The apartment complex where I live has a couple of apple trees, and in the middle of July, many of the apples are already ready to be picked!
So, here is what you need to make apple pie (cake) in a coffee cup!
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped apples
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 3 tablespoons water
- pinch of salt
- ice cream
- coffee mug
1. Cut up an apple and chop small pieces until you fill a 1/4 cup container.
2. Combine flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon, oil, water, and apples in a coffee cup. Mix thoroughly!
3. Microwave for 1 minute and 40 seconds. Do not overcook!
4. Take out of microwave and top with ice cream and enjoy!
