This weekend, the 2014 PodCamp Nashville is happening!  This year, the event has a new home at the Nossi College of Art on 590 Cheron Road in Nashville.  (near the intersection of Briley Parkway and Ellington Parkway)  Podcamp Nashville is the premier digital media “unconference” in the Mid South.  It’s open to everyone interested in using online media to share ideas, hear from industry leaders and fellow community members, and participate in discussions and demonstrations.  First held in Nashville in 2008, PodCamp is a forum for bloggers, marketers, content creators, educators, podcasters and the like to gather, network and learn about the latest trends, tricks and technologies in the interactive world.  And the best part, the entire event is free!  This is video from the 2011 event.

This year, the event will feature a lot of great things.  If you have something to say and have authority on what you’re speaking about, you can sign up to be a speaker!  Basically, the content at PodCamp Nashville is determined by the attendees.  This event will also feature several sessions going on at the same time, and you can pick and choose which event you want to attend!  There will be empty rooms available so you can talk to one or several people about any topic you choose.  To read a great survival guide to PodCamp Nashville, go to: http://www.podcampnashville.org/pcn14/news/podcamp-nashville-survival-guide
