The Taste of Calhoun County 2013

Advertisements

On Tuesday I attended the annual event put on by the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce.  The Calhoun County Business 2 Business Expo and The Taste of Calhoun County is held every year at the Anniston City Meeting Center.  This year I tasted all the food dare during lunch.  And the food items were very good!  If you were asking, The Peerless Grille won best lunch and was The Taste of Calhoun County Winner.

Here are some chicken wings from Jefferson’s in Oxford.  The chicken was crispy and yummy!

Here is a cupcake from Too Nice to Slice in Oxford.  A really yummy red velvet cupcake!

Here is a chicken finger and small biscuit from Jack’s Family Restaurants.  You can not go wrong with this staple!

Here is some fried fish from The Peerless Grille.  You can taste why they are the winners of The Taste of Calhoun County.

How about some prime rib and interesting mashed potatoes from Prime Dining and Bar in Anniston.  Interesting food.

Here is some food from Thai One On in downtown Anniston.  I enjoyed this food.

How about potato pizza from Mellow Mushroom in Oxford.  This was some interesting flavors.

Here is pizza from Mata’s Greek Pizza in Anniston.  You can taste the homemade pizza difference!

Here is chicken some Zaxby’s.  You can not go wrong with their chicken.

Here are some baked goods from Artisanal Baked Goods in Anniston.  I might have to go back to their shop.

And here is some food with some chocolate from Alabama Power.  A great way to wrap up the food tasting!

The most important part of this expo is the networking and talking to businesses.  I also had fun playing with some games like football throwing, basketball, ball toss, and mini golf, yeah I don’t play golf very well.  I also got to play with a giant game of Operation and had pictures taken in a photo booth.  It was a good time, here are some pictures!
