The news coming out of Minnesota over the past few weeks has been insane. The big claim is daycares are illegally stealing taxpayer funding by not having any kids enrolled in certain daycares.
The claim has blown up so much that a young YouTuber named Nick Shirley went up to Minnesota to try to film kids inside daycares. So the question, what daycare anywhere would allow a stranger with a camera crew to be allowed inside a daycare to film children? No one, that’s the answer! Instead the daycare would be calling the police.
So the MAGA right-wing faithful on social media have been slamming these daycares in Minnesota by not allowing strangers to walk inside daycares to film kids. I mean come on. Would you want your child to be filmed by a stranger you do not know?
Also the MAGA right-wing faithful on social media have been targeting day cares mostly run by Somalian immigrants who are here in the United States legally. As you can guess, certain people are being targeted by their skin color.
Officials in Minnesota have investigated these daycares and found no wrongdoing. But that is not stopping the MAGA right-wing faithful from continuing to say that these daycares are stealing taxpayer money.
The situation has gotten so bad that the Minnesota governor named Tim Walz has announced he will not run for a third term as governor. Yes, the so-called daycare scandal is one reason. But another reason is the MAGA right-wing faithful have been harassing the children of Tim Walz. It’s sad you have certain people sending threats, insults, and even saying the R-word to the children of Tim Walz.
I think Tim Walz is doing the right thing by stepping down. I hate to say this, but Tim Walz is too much damage now. The MAGA right-wing have done such a spectacular job damaging Tim Walz over the years.
And that’s what the MAGA right-wing media infrastructure is really good at. They find the smallest minor thing against any Democrat, and amplify it to make it a major scandal.
The Democrats do not have the media infrastructure right now. They just don’t. And unless they decide to get serious and start building media infrastructure, they are never going to win again.
I keep saying this to Democrats in the area where I live at, but I feel like I’m being ignored all the time.
Hopefully another Democrat will win the governor’s seat in Minnesota. Because we cannot have the My Pillow guy being governor, that would be a disaster.
