Crowdsourcing Mornings: Slice(s) Of Life – A World Without Pizza

Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at:  https://geekalabama.com/media-kit-pr/geek-alabama-crowdsourcing-guidelines

It started with an idea…What if pizza was against the law? That simple thought led to a collection of stories set in a terrifying world where the President has outlawed the crowd-pleasing food after he’s mercilessly ridiculed for eating pizza with a fork and knife. Collected here are four stories, along with a bonus tale that loosely connects them all. The stories range from comedy to drama to noir, all filled with heart and a penchant for pizza.

Slice(s) of Life will also feature an interstitial story illustrated by Dan Buksa and written by all four writers. It follows a rogue pizza delivery woman and serves as the bookend for the anthology.

We are running this campaign to finish up any remaining artwork, print the full book, and ship it out to you.

As of February 12th, this project has raised $2,000 of their $4,500 goal. This project has 27 days left to raise the $4,500 or it will not be funded.
