Since there are so many conventions in the first weekend in March, this is one of two parts of Convention Tuesdays this week.  Click here to see the other post with more conventions happening!

March 4-5 — Tupelo Con — Tupelo, Mississippi

Tupelo Con is a Multi-Genre event dedicated to bringing the people of geek culture together and giving them a memorable experience. We are focused on representing as many fandoms as possible, with comics, gaming, cosplay, sci-fi and more!

As the premiere and original multi-genre con in North Mississippi, Tupelo Con started as Tupelo Comic Con with the first event being March 5th, 2016. With the sixth year coming quickly, Tupelo Con is excited for it’s biggest event yet, at Tupelo’s biggest venue, The Furniture Market.

We can’t wait to see you there!

March 4 — Hair Of The Dragon — Atlanta, Georgia

Cosplayers spend many hours, weeks and sometimes months working on their beloved cosplays but so often never have a good opportunity to get top-notch photos in their amazing creations. With that being said, we invite all levels of cosplayers to one of Atlanta’s most unique events, HAIR OF THE DRAGON: Cosplay Photo mini-Con, now in it’s 10th year.

Likened by many as a “cosplay photo mini-con” attendees will have opportunities to work with over 20 well-established professional photographers (who will be “Featured” and set-up around STUDIO SPACE ATLANTA, a multi-use studio) as well as several other photographers “roaming” the event space.

Cardboard*Con is the first and only science fiction / fantasy convention dedicated to the art of cardboard costuming. Encompassing more than 3 Atlanta downtown hotels, Cardboard*Con will has become a tradition among all fun-loving nerds. The SECRET of Cardboard*Con is that there really isn’t a plan – you have to make it fun all by yourself, using your imagination and your manners.

All ages are welcome to participate in scheduled events that will take place at the Woodstock, R.T. Jones, Gilmer and libraries! First hosted in 2016 to great success, Sequoyah-Con is now scheduled for 3 separate dates, so you can have fun at all of the branches throughout March!
