WordCamp Birmingham is quickly coming up. This two-day event, held February 4-5 in Birmingham, Alabama is all about WordPress. WordCamp Birmingham (WP Y’all) is a volunteer-run conference centered around WordPress, the free and open-source software, powering over 40% of the Internet.
WordCamp is attended by designers, developers, business owners, bloggers, copywriters, consultants, hobbyists, employees who use WordPress as part of their job, and anyone else who uses WordPress in any way. Attendees range from the novice who is brand new to WordPress to the savvy WordPress user to advanced designers and developers who make their living with WordPress.

This presentation will show you great ways to promote and increase traffic to your WordPress blog. From podcasts, social media, and more, you have the power to become popular on the internet.
I am building my presentation now, and it will cover what I have done over the past 10+ years since I launched Geek Alabama to build my traffic. And it will show you tips and tricks to help you build up traffic. I have done a variety of different things to attract traffic while also using some great tools to help me.
