Crowdsourcing Mornings: The Picture Of Dorian Gray Chocolate Bar

Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at:  https://geekalabama.com/media-kit-pr/geek-alabama-crowdsourcing-guidelines

We are Open Book Chocolates. We’re a small, Maryland-based, woman-owned business that makes handmade, bean-to-bar, fair trade, literary-inspired chocolate bars.

Be the first to get your hands on our newest flavor, The Picture of Dorian Gray: Strawberries and Juniper Berries in Dark Chocolate. Supporting our Kickstarter campaign will help us create this new chocolate bar!

Also, help us create three (3) Open Book Chocolate TEAS — Pride and Prejudice, A Christmas Carol, and The Picture of Dorian Gray — that pair perfectly with our chocolate bars!

Open Book Chocolates is a marriage between two passions: literature and chocolate. Food can be a powerful instrument in storytelling, from the bilberries Jane Eyre gathers on the heath to the ever-present tea shared by Holmes and Watson. Our signature flavors embody the stories, characters, and themes of our favorite classics.

As of September 21st, this project has raised $11,000 of their $5,000 goal. This project has 8 days left to raise as much as it can.  For a pledge of $11, you will get one The Picture of Dorian Gray Chocolate Bar.  For a pledge of $22, you will get two chocolate bars.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gegallas/the-picture-of-dorian-gray-chocolate-bar?
