Crowdsourcing Mornings: The BitterSweet Review

Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

The BitterSweet Review is a publishing platform dedicated to the advancement of queer literature and visual culture. Initiated in London by a group of international writers, artists and scholars, it was born out of a desire to build community in times of hardship. Its activities include a biannual magazine, artists limited editions and writing workshops.

The BitterSweet Review is committed to supporting emerging writers and artists while championing original queer literature and ideas. We are committed to addressing and fighting racist, classist, ageist, ableist and intellectualist biases in all their forms. All our contributors will be paid for their work.

As of February 16th, this project has raised $9,000 of their $9,476 goal. This project has 5 days left to raise the $9,476 or it will not be funded. For a pledge of $7, you will get bookmarks.  For a pledge of $17, you will get one print issue.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/benoitloiseau/the-bittersweet-review?
