Trainscapes: Train Ride at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum

Welcome to Trainscapes. Each week, we will feature train content including videos of trains and behind the scenes action of trains and locomotives!

The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum operates a 3-mile long heritage railroad in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and runs trains daily. The local, named after Missionary Ridge, takes passengers on a short but scenic ride over three bridges and one pre-Civil War tunnel. In this video, you’ll ride the local from the cab of Southern Railway High Hood GP30 no. 2594.
